Picspam: Autumn in New York City

The Lake

I wandered about New York City the other day with [livejournal.com profile] raelala and since I like how the pictures came out...

The first bunch are from Central Park, the second half feature The High Line Park in the Meat Packing District. We had meant to spend most of the day in Central Park but had to make an emergency stop at B&H Camera after a rock took out its frustration on [livejournal.com profile] raelala's camera filter. Hence the meander through the High Line.

So gorgeous I cannot even. So jealous of you guys. Sigh!

Thanks!

This is why you need to come to NYC more often, or when you move to Salt Lake City you need to take gorgeous pictures of Utah and make the rest of us jealous (Trust me babe, when you move out there I will come visit just to assuage my own jealousy)

These are breathtaking.

Did you adjust the colors for any of them on your computer or are they unedited?

Thanks!

And yeah, these are quite adjusted. They're desaturated in some places and saturated in others with a few highlight and shadow colors added in to make them pop. They were pretty pictures to begin with but I really wanted to hit that Autumn vibe (and have fun with lightroom)

BTW, I watched The Big Fat Quiz of the Year 2006. I am firmly on board the Goth Detectives bandwagon!
