How To Train Your Dragon

It's back to Germany for me and amazingly enough Lufthansa is so full I couldn't change my seat when I check in last night. I will be crossing the Atlantic in a middle seat. *sobs*
On the upside I did see How to Train Your Dragon last night.
Dreamworks! I did not expect that from you! Pixar, yes, I go into a Pixar movie expecting greatness, I watch Dreamworks movies expecting to be mildly entertained.
Let me illustrate my reaction to this movie:

This movie basically had the plot of the Black Stallion but with more animation and humor - also Dragons. Albeit a black dragon in an isolated area a young boy has to tame and then use to prove his point to those around him. Very Black Stallion-ish. Not that I'm complaining, I'm a sucker for that plot every time and I love the details they added to the dragons.
The main dragon being more of a giant kitty cat then everything else - from the dragon!nip to the falling asleep when you hit the right spot and loving to sleep in a warm place. Yeah, as a cat person, I may have been all over that.
The design of the dragons was outstanding, in my non-animation opinion. I just liked the diversity and how so many of them were non-typical looking dragons. The Viking kid that wandered around spouting off Dragon facts like he was playing a good game of Dungeon's and Dragons was particularly amusing. Or maybe he's just the Viking equivalent of a car buff.
Of course lets not forget all those Scottish voices. So sue me people! I like Gerard Butler! He can do voiceover work ANY day and Craig Ferguson... my lovely, darling Craig Ferguson.
Gimme a moment... I have hearts for eyes and can't quite see straight.
Craig really did have the best lines in this movie. He was most definitely the comic relief and his Viking was a rather amusing figure. He really needs to do more movies so I can follow him around fawning all over his work.
Why is this movie not out on DVD yet so I can watch it over and over again?
I saw this with

Comic Con NEEDS this and for those that know him the resemblance is there y/y? He's practically a Big Giant Viking anyways - might as well go whole hog!

I just adored the design on the main dragon. I love his big thick legs and his flat snake head and everything. XD
