Since the Snowpocalypse is well under way and everyone (or most everyone) is either stuck at home or at work contemplating how to get home I thought this was the perfect time to break out some photo spams: starting with the Naturhistorische Museum Wien.

This is a museum so badass, Charles Darwin rides tortoises through the lobby... Because nothing says Snow Day like Darwin on a tortoise.

I loved this museum. They'd illustrate ideas like genetics and population expansion using toy dinosaurs and elephants.

This little figurine, the Venus of Willendorf, was the entire reason I wanted to come to this museum.

What museum uses plastic figurines to illustrate fossils!

Scariest stuffed seal ever.

I have no idea who this man is, or why a model of him was tucked up in the museum. But he seemed like an appropriate place to stop
