Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour

There were shades of Ten, which I loved. I could definitely see Matt channeling the Doctor - especially in the very beginning when he was demanding Amelia Pond make him all kinds of different food.
Someone really needed to sit her down and give her a talk about interacting with strange men. Of course she went and became a kissogram so I'm thinking she never did get that particular talk.
Moffat could have chosen a better job for her though. I'm not sure what purpose it served towards the plot other then to make the Doctor think she was a police officer and being in such a small town with no car to get around in - what parties was she going to? I'm sure I'm just poking at plot holes I shouldn't be, but the whole kissogram thing has annoyed me ever since I found out about it.
I really liked Amy, I liked Eleven more then I thought I would and I squealed a much as a sick person who has lost their voice could when all of the Doctor's faces showed up. Troughton! Tennant! MY LOVES!
I really wanted the dog to talk with a human voice. Maybe they decided that would have been too camp, but regardless, I wanted it!
Definitely some good moments. I think I need to watch it again.
I still desperately miss Ten though.

... OOH, MAYBE THIS WILL SPUR ME ON TO WRITE SOME FOURTEEN TOMORROW.
And yeah, the kissogram thing... blech. There was no obvious fail in the rest of it but that? Pure fail. (Is there even such thing as a "kissogram"? It sounds like a pre-watershed name or a "stripogram". But then, I don't regularly order people to parties so maybe they do exist.)
Aside from that, though, I remain pleasantly surprised.
