Looks like I'm going to winchestercon

I've never heard about it before today but regala_electra needed a roommate and since I'm always permanently packed and have the travel bug like woah. I figured why the hell not.

Never been to LA before. Might as well go and see what it's all about. Plus: Winchesters. I do not mind being around people thinking about such pretty pretty boys for that amount of time. No problems with that whatsoever.

Also, the baby bro is flying in from Germany tomorrow to see me. He's been out of Iraq for the past month and this will be the first time I've seen him since the Christmas before last. The crying girl you see in Newark Airport tomorrow hugging a soldier to within an inch of his life. Yeah, that'll be me.

And he's gonna be here three whole days. Well, not quite whole. But I'm very excited

Yep, this is the 2nd WinCon after the one in Nashville last year. I'm...really trying not to be all crazy excited about it as it's still quite a few months away. squee!

Get me closer to october and I'll be bouncing off the walls... Oh, lemme know when I have to pay for stuff, like fees and crap since you'll probably be more up on it then me.

I was all jealous I didn't get to go, actually. Stupid poor, unemployed self. It looked like it was a lot of fun. You should be all crazy about it. Jax, I swear that was who went, really had a blast. Act crazy. Crazy means El will be all excited about it. *grins* She needs that insanity.

Hah, I didn't go because:

1) I didn't get involved in SPN fandom until the con was pretty much set and closed

2) Money disappears so quickly.

I will totally be excited about it but if I start spazzing now, all I'll have left is anxiety later and it's not fun to travel with butterflies in your stomach.

Money does disappear quickly. Too quickly. There needs to be an endless supply of it for every fannish pursuit.

Ahh, no spazzing just yet then. Anxiety's no fun on a flight. Too cramped as it is.
