New Puppy!
Feb. 11th, 2009 11:31 pmI am EXHAUSTED.
My dad cut a killer deal with me a few months ago where I'd paint all the rooms upstairs for 50 bucks each. I'm about to entire my third day of painting in the spare bedroom. *GROANS*
I'm also exhausted because my mom and I spent a good part of the evening trying to track down my cat as she had entered deep deep hiding thanks to a new member of our family...
The new member being a 10 month old male Golden Retriever named Dundee

He's an absolutely joy, but in being a joy he is still very much a puppy. Which is what has both cats so thoroughly traumatized.
After Abby's passing (I keep having people tell me she didn't pass away, she died. I know she did, but I'm still unable to actually say it that way) the house was way too empty and my dad was quite lost without his girl. Dundee will never replace Abby but he's definitely made the house a better place to be. And he's already carving out his own little niche (my dad is completely smitten. It's adorable)
