The help_haiti auction is over and I made out like a bandit!

I didn't even intend to participate, I was just going to donate some money to Doctors Without Borders and go on my merry way until memphis86 stepped up and began harassing me about it all. Granted, I still did donate money to Doctors Without Borders, but I won a fanart by jigglykat and a fic by regala_electra in the process (Reg, I can FEEL you judging me!) Let's just say that Doctor's Without Borders walked away with more of my money then I had initially budgeted for - and they are welcome to it. I'd give more if I could.

I think I'm the LAST person regala_electra expected to win (You know I'm not to blame right? It's all Memphis' fault...) I was hoping I could convince her to write a Doctor Who fic since once upon a time back when David Tennant was all shiny and new (but not sparkly) and we didn't quite know what to make of him she dabbled a bit and wrote some very lovely fics.

Alas, even bribery does not work. *woe* But I'm hoping I can connive something else out of her. Sorry J2 Wincest people. SHE'S ALL MINE. (Dear Reg: Please don't poison me on my birthday, much love: me)

jigglykat has my prompt already and I'm beyond excited to see where she goes with it (when she gets the chance of course!)

I'm still pissy that the one thing I REAAALLLLYYYY wanted, someone pulled a cheesedick move and outbid me on at 11:59.

But I did win two sketches by a lovely artist, so I'm happy about that.

UGH. That's low. I was scared someone would pull that with the fanart by jigglykat so I basically spent the last few minutes of the Auction refreshing the page like crazy. JUST IN CASE.

What's sad is I did that. :( I got outbid about an hour beforehand so I waited until 11:58 to bid again - and other person must have been refreshing like a bandit to have got in that last minute.

Yesss. I'm going to see if they'll do Vala and Aeryn. I'm predictable like that, and I love the idea of matching portraits.
