I miss the midwest

My parents were in Branson, Missouri this past week. When I called them to talk, my dad didn't have time to chat since there was a thunderstorm brewing and the hail was flying. That man has a serious week spot for massive storms. Doesn't matter what time of day it is, if there's a thunderstorm, he's going to watch it. And the midwest has some doozies.

Also, The Idiot's Lantern was great fun. I need to watch it again.

Whoa. Those pictures are astounding! I've never seen a sky like that. (And believe me, we get the thunderstorms. In fact, we're having one now.)

Those are the kinds of clouds you'd expect to see hand in hand with the apocalypse. ahh, Kansas, such a happy place.

New York lacks good storms. They'll have torrential rain, but they lack in other areas that make certain storms wow-worthy. When I lived in North Texas we'd have storms that would knock your socks off. It was great.

I've heard Florida can have some good ones. Although, I do not envy your proclivity towards hurricanes.
