2010: A Year In Photos

I took just as many photos in 2010 as I have in years previous. Every month I had a camera in hand and was shooting away. I wasn't nearly as proficient at editing and uploading my photos so this post is by no means a concise list. A few months aren't even represented because they're still sitting on my harddrive waiting for me to go through them.

Still, 2010 was a good year even though I felt like I didn't go as many places as I would have liked. In fact, I think I spent more time taking photos in the United States than I did overseas.

The county jail one is absolutely terrifying (and a terrific shot!). Perfect setting for a horror movie. (Were those stains on the walls?)

I think an episode of Ghost Hunters was filmed at that jail. It was rather frightening but not for ghostly reasons, it was full of junkies and if I didn't have four big burly guys going in there with me there's no way I would have gone near it.

I don't think those were stains. I'm pretty sure it was peeling paint coupled with exposure. It was gorgeous there in a really bleak way.

Holy photographic prowess, Batman! Your pictures are gorgeous. The Christmas lights one from December especially struck me for some reason. Perhaps I'm still feeling the spirit of the season. Thanks for sharing!

I went to your icons to check and saw your Ten/Rose EoT icon with the tag "The Beginning," and I JUST REALIZED THE TRAGIC IRONY OF TEN/ROSE'S FINAL MEETING ACTUALLY BEING THE DOCTOR/ROSE'S FIRST MEETING. 1) I'm so slow. 2) ILU, RTD. Please come back and break our hearts forever. 3) Good lord. Like that scene needed an extra layer of heartbreak.

Thanks. You totally should do something like this and all I did was go through Flickr via the Calendar feature and pick out the photos I liked from all the ones I took in 2010. No harddrives required.

I know very little about their actual tryout process as I was too busy drooling *g* I do know that they actively recruit and if they see a guy that looks like he has the right type of body they'll try and draft him into it (which basically boils down to hot dudes checking out hot dudes)
