The sheer AWESOME that was Let's Dance.

Let me talk for a bit about Noel Fielding and HOW UTTERLY AMAZING HE IS.

So Comic Relief in the UK has a Celebrity Let's Dance thing. And it is AMAZING.

First, there was his intro for Round One:

Oh Noel. I love your version of "mainstream".



And then the intro for Round Two:

Followed up by THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER LAID EYES ON.

He did this dance for the first round but his second round has the added benefit of Julian Barratt as Heathcliff. It was completely unexpected, at least for me, and as soon as he showed up and we realized who was on stage, there was much screaming and gina_r_snape and I did clutch at each other (nevermind that her BF was sitting in between us, poor guy)



I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED! IT HAS SUSTAINED ME FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS WITH ITS SHEER AWESOME.

Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt are comedians who are known as The Mighty Boosh (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mighty_Boosh). Kind of a modern day Monty Python. They have a quirky sort of appeal, as I'm sure you noticed from Noel's... entry. They had their own TV show that ran for three years and multiple tours. They've been doing solo things as of now so Julian showing up on stage to sweep Noel off his feet basically turned their fans to absolute MUSH. Ahem, sorry, that was longer than I anticipated. My little fangirl heart ran away with me *G*
