ellefliesIt's cold, there is snow on the ground, there were deer in the trees on the way to dinner tonight, the mountains are a looming blue presence in the background and the rolling hills of the great plains have never looked so beautiful.
I may tell people I'm from Texas, but I was born in Colorado and it holds a place in my heart no other location will ever be able to touch.
It really is nice to come HOME.
