Meh. It's 6 in the morning in Germany and I woke up at 4. This would not be a bad thing if I was actually ferrying an empty plane home and would be able to sleep the entire time. But alas, I have to actually work.

Because I will be missing the Doctor Who freak out scheduled for later today, I went ahead and bought two Doctor Who audiobooks because they are narrated by David Tennant. Yes, I know I'm a bit of a freak but my shot nerves (thanks bunches RTD!) mean I need something soothing.

Also, my Flickr photos of the Gibbon got spammed by someone making assumptions without asking me questions about them first and this really annoys me. I really wish people would find out the facts before they started pointing fingers.

I saw that in Flickr, and I see what you mean about making assumptions. How do they know it wasn't a rescued animal?

I have no idea. The impression I got from the people running the place was that the gibbons had been rescued. I saw nothing but love and respect for the ape while I was there. I knew about the animal (and the people) exploitation in Thailand before I even went there and I was careful to pick the place we went based on how they treated their animals.

The Elephant Village was a privately owned rescue center for Asian elephants that were either too old, had been injured or were otherwise incapable of being working elephants anymore. It was run almost completely on tours and donations.

Assumptions just really hack me off. There was a better way to present that information then that guy did.
