Ten/Rose & Dinosaurs!!

A few months ago, back when the help_haiti thing was going on I had no intention of participating. I was just gonna donate to Doctor's Without Borders and call it a day. memphis86 caught me at a fairly exhausted moment and talked me into bidding. And I won two things! Weeeeee!

I won jigglykat in the fanart category and I was oh so thrilled.

Since she is amazingly talented and I trust her to do awesome things my prompt to her was simple





YOU GUYS HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!

She gave me the hard copy at her going away party. (NYC will no longer have jigglykat WOE) and I think I spent the rest of the week carting it around and foisting it off on people as THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER.

She had me completely fooled too. She kept sending me links about recent discoveries involving dinosaurs having color and feathers and I was completely expecting feathers. I think we've come to a compromise though: that T-Rex is totally going to rock a feather boa and a pimp hat. For Reals!

Anyhow, I am oh so very pleased with this. It was money WELL spent.

It also fits into my agenda of More Dinos on Doctor Who. For a time travel show there is a distressing lack of dinosaurs!

I really love this and you're right we need dinosaurs on Who!
Dinosaurs v.s Daleks would make a great episode or at least a very strange one. Either way win! ;D

There are some in the old eps but we've come so far with effects they really should think of bringing them back (The Classic Who ones are BAD)

And yes, that matchup would be epic. Kinda like Daleks vs Frankenstein... which DW totally did.
