Math Scares Me

If everything goes to plan I'm hoping I'll have the opportunity to take the United States Air Force Officer Candidacy Test sometime in August (July at the earliest)

I'm scared spitless of the math portions though.

I've been reviewing like crazy and it's been interesting when co-workers ask me if I'm in college. I don't really want to lie but I don't want to blather about my plans either, so it leaves me in a hazy grey area going on about "maybe going back to school"

Which is putting it a little lightly.

If anything, even if they don't accept me, this whole adventure is forcing me to face my fear of math.

And that really is something.

Fortunately I've had more support then I know what to do with, which makes The Boy's reality checks more welcome. (The Boy would be my soldier off in Afghanistan)

I've forgotten how exhausting math is though. It's never come naturally so trying to wrap my brain around it leaves me wiped out.
